“Redemption is around every corner, you just have to be willing to work for it.” This was an enjoyable addition to the series, but mostly just for the fact that you were curious as to what is happening with Camden.

After screwing up his life, and damaging those closest to him as well, Camden is in hiding from the men that would love to see him dead now. His life sucks now, he has no friends or family, and nothing seems to go right.

That is until he meets Brooklyn. She was never supposed to meet him. After all, her job is to watch him and make sure he doesn’t get into any more trouble, or get himself killed. But an instant attraction makes it hard for either one to stay away from each other, even when both of their lives are at stake…

I was curious to see what was going on in Camden’s life, considering he turned into such a s*** in the past books. Just like the prequel, his personality goes through extreme changes from one end of the spectrum to the other, and in an unrealistic way. And the police side of things didn’t match up the way it would with some good research done on the author’s part.

But, as a whole, it wasn’t too bad of a story. I enjoyed getting to see Camden redeem himself somewhat and get to move on with his life. Another decent addition to the series. On to Kyle’s story next!

First off, I LOVE this series by LP Dover! It's more than just MMA fighting. It has HOT MMA fighters, suspense, violence, HOT MMA fighters, raw sex, and yes a little bit of love. Oh and very alpha HOT MMA fighters! Through the first few books, I think most readers would agree, Camden Jameson was not only a self serving ass to just about everyone, he was also a very broken man. He had hit rock bottom by fighting in the underground circuit. I was not a fan of this character at all. Well, LP Dover, you brought that boy around! I am now on team Camden! Of course it took a very special woman to tame the beast. Brooklyn could not have been a more perfect heroine for this story. I was nervous about all the lies and secrets between the lead characters to begin with. I did a little happy dance when B decided that she was all in in this relationship and couldn't keep on lying in good conscience to Cam. I was so happy that that conversation occurred early on in their relationship and didn't cause undo strife as something revealed far down the road. If there ever was a bad boy who needed redeeming, it's Camden. Brooklyn saw something in him that he no longer believed he possessed.

Opening the door, I stepped out into the hallway and kept my eyes solely on his when the door shut behind him. "You're not scaring me, Cam. Redemption is around every corner, you just have to be willing to work for it."

Together, they became a balm for each other's hurts. Both finding acceptance for who they are not just what they are. Camden dug down and became the swoony kind of hero we all love.

But you love the ocean, the waves. I've seen you surf and I know it's your passion.

It is, but I'd give it all up for you. There is no you and I, it's only we from here on our. It's your choice, Brooklyn. Are we going to stay, or are we going to go?

You'll want to start at the beginning of the series to get a true feel for the relationships between the friends and family in the series. When you get to this book, I know you'll flip for Camden. Enjoy this author a whole lot! Can't wait to read more from her!
I have been waiting for Camden's book since a fighter's desire and it did not disappoint! Camden has a freight train full of baggage and a past that is still haunting. Still estranged from his family and on the run, he is lonely, living with his guilt and in a very dark place. When he meets Brooklyn he wants to be better but cannot fully forgive himself for his sins and feels unworthy. Brooklyn has suffered grief and a painful past as well. I have to say that Brooklyn is bad ass. I just loved her. Her feistiness her strength and her vulnerability made her very relatable. she was exactly what I would've pictured for Camden. Cam was broken and you really felt for him big time. When Brooklynn in Camden get together it is explosive! Leslie has done it again with keeping the reader engage from page 1 all the way through to the epilogue. The suspense in this book was incredible.The way it ties into the other books in the series as well as a big appearance by Mason from the second chance series was just awesome to read. I can't wait for Kyle's book though I'm very sad that it will be the last one as I'm going to miss these characters
I have been waiting ans waiting to have a story about Camden. I wanted to get inside his head and see if he could change enough to have his own HEA or at least not be a complete 'f**khead' (as Ryley so charmingly puts it). In this story, Camden is on the run and hide from Scars people who want nothing more then to see him dead. Camden ran from California in hopes of protecting his family, even though he is certain that they want nothing to do with him. Brooklyn is working undercover with Mason 'the Eagle' Bradley in the hopes that she can keep Camden safe without him knowing. Brooklyn has been through her own family troubles that can rival those of Cams. As the book progresses these two get to know each other and become friends. Brooklyn even shares her long time friends with Cam. Come to find out one of those friends is a traitor. But who will it be? Will everyone survive?

L.P. Dover has surpassed my expectations for this book. There is so much more then i could have imagined in store for Camden. He has always been one of my favorites (Mason is number 1). This book is beautifully written with great wording, editing, and plot twists. You will not want to put this down after you start it. I had to remind myself that I had to teach students and I could not just give them a worksheet to do while I read Camden's Redemption.

You will not regret this. if you have not read the other books in the Gloves Off series I would highly suggest you do so. They are all amazing and worth every penny and so much more.
