This book wasn’t your typical boy meets girl story. It is set in our favorite single parents group in New Orleans. Lindsey is not technically single, but she is married to a military man who is away more than he’s home. She never knows when Matt will be home for the holidays or if it will suddenly be cut short. The singles group is having their Christmas party. I love that we see so much of all of the other couples in the other books. Logan has gotten a Santa to hand out presents for everyone. It soon becomes apparent that Santa has some helpers in picking the perfect present for each person. Lindsey ends up being the last one to get her present. She realizes pretty quick that Santa is none other than her husband. This may be a quick novella, but it was HOT! I hope we get to see more of Lindsey and Matt in the future. It was a great read.

EGGNOG MAKES HER EASY is a standalone read with a HEA. One in a series but you won't be lost (you will have just missed a LOT) if you haven't read the other books. Set in New Orleans this story is about the love between the PERFECT military wife and her Army husband. A good description of what life is like being a military wife and the lucky guy she is married to. Matt is Special Forces so he has a very dangerous job and he is gone most of the time. These two met while in college and have been married 10 years. They have two sons that miss their father but know how important the job he is doing and live for the times he is home.

It is SEXY as the word can be. These two have it going on. Matt surprises the family when he comes home for Christmas and they had no idea he was coming. The way he surprises his wife is priceless. This guy is a hero on more than one level. Then to surprise his boys he plans another great homecoming. This story is fun, true to life, tear-jerking, and again, sexy. I really enjoyed the story and got a great appreciation for a military man's love of country, family and devotion to his wife. For her we got to see a woman that loved her husband enough to allow him to be who he needed to be. It is a great story and one you won't soon forget. I even loved the General. I definitely recommend this story. Just be sure the sexy scenes won't be a problem for you. They really give an inside view to the love a man and a woman have for each other. Great read.

If you’ve been following the Boys of the Big Easy, you’ll flip for this holiday novella featuring Lindsey, whose husband is an active serviceman. If you’re new to this terrific group of single parents, this is just the book to whet your appetite for this wonderful series and fill you with holiday cheer. Once the little ones are tucked away with a movie night and snacks, the adults break out the spiked punch and the ladies, especially, enjoy a visit from a scorching hot Santa and his racy gifts. Without spoiling anything, let’s just say that Lindsey gets the best gift of all from good ol’ Sexy Claus.

Sweet and steamy, heartfelt and humorous, and poignant and patriotic, this holiday interlude is a phenomenal addition to the series. Not only a terrific romance, this book will give you a greater appreciation for members of our military and the family members who support them. If you appreciate an author who can, time and again, craft a compelling, riveting, humorous story with eternally endearing characters, and one who has an eye for detail and a virtually flawless finished product, Nicholas is the author for you, and you’ll love this New Orleans based holiday novella.

Erin Nicholas made me cry. She has written such an emotionally beautiful story in her latest Boys of the Big Easy series, Eggnog Makes Her Easy. The love between the two main characters, Lindsey and her career Army husband Matt is heartwarming. The Army takes Matt away from Lindsey and their two little boys, Liam and Aidan for months at a time but Lindsey doesn't resent being left alone to care for the boys. She loves Matt so much that if staying in the Army makes him happy, then Lindsey is happy.

In this story Matt surprises Lindsey at the adult Christmas party held for the Singles Group she attends. While at the party a really sexy Santa arrives thanks to Logan Trahan who readers met in Taking It Easy. Santa sits in a chair all ready for the "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause" Photo Booth. Santa has a gift for all the ladies but Lindsey has to wait until last. Hers is a very special gift. Such a very special gift and surprise!

This story hit so many great highlights as I read it; joy, fun, special friendships and love. There are some very poignant moments which did bring tears to my eyes. There was the feeling of how special true friendships can be. There were also some very sexy and romantic scenes with some titilating dirty talk. It was very enjoyable to read about how Lindsey and Matt met and the importance of eggnog in their lives. Lindsey and Matt did so many Christmas activities with their sons which made this a fun Christmas read as well as a sexy one. Who wouldn't want to read a story that makes eggnog super sexy?
